remove_post_type_support( string $post_type, string $support_feature );
This construct (function) unregisters a feature support for the specified post type. The support features are configured when the post type is registered. However, you may wish to change this behavior by removing one of the registered features.
For example, a plugin that you are using adds a post type. But your project needs an additional feature that the plugin is not including. Using this function, you are able to customize the post type for your needs.
You can also use this function to add features to the built-in post types, i.e. post, page, etc.
- The post type’s slug which specifies which post type to use for the new feature.
- The feature to add to the post type. Features include the following:
- editor (content)
comments(also will see comment count balloon on edit screen)
revisions(will store revisions)
page-attributes(template and menu order) (hierarchical must be true)
This function does not return anything.
